Fibromyalgia - Chronic Pain and the Brain
Discussion
Just done a search on Fibromyalgia but nobody seems to have posted before.
Looking for some very specific information on memory loss - which has been caused by chronic pain. The brain is not able to store any memory of events as the pain is too great (caused by over exertion) so there is no recollection of things happening.
Looking for more medical evidence to support chronic pain and its affect on the brain.
I have found a 2007 paper by Bruce Dick that supports this, but could do with more really.
Its not for me - I'm not medical - but someone's job (not mine) depends on them getting the independent evidence that I can't provide.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
