Had a nice fun days 'grass roots' motorsport yesterday

• standard mx5 (well, technially Eunos) driven to the venue
• standard tyres
• only £20 entry and I learnt a bit about how the car behaves

I only found out about this the day before and had planned work in. Arse. I did the entire Brands Hatch Autotest series this summer with the Sevenoaks Motor Club, grass roots as you say but so much fun and just £12 per entry. So much fun on the cheap it should be illegal!! Hopefully I will see you out and about in 2013, I introduced my 15 year old nephew to Autotests and Brands and now he is 16 he can do the Autosolos and slaloms next year.
