Well, hat a day for it!

And very nice touch with the two minutes at 11am.

Car was ace today. Hope there was no permanent damage to the plethora of cars that left the island.

And my mate was very apologetic for dropping his load round Redgate and top half of Craners...

Definitely some of the more dubious track driving I've seen.
The guy on the straight, slowing down and pulling and indicating to the left confused the hell out of me for a second. Think he was lost!

Which car was that? I spotted some bad driving today and a few people that didn't bother using their mirrors.

It was a great day for it though, shame about the red flags but that's life.

One of the Saabs.
Red flags, I thought, were dealt with very quickly when they did occur. At least they were in the mot img whilst I was there. Just surprised there were so many when the conditions were so bloody good!

Great day and I managed to stay on track all day with a full Cargraphic exhaust system! No noise issues at all.

Not sure what static test would be but must be below 98DB on drive by.

It must be the SAAB estate that we kept coming across, not great driving because they weren't using their mirrors and they were positioning themselves on the right hand side of the track and crossing traffic to enter the pits instead of exiting the chicane on the left hand side.

The conditions, marshalls and turnout were great though smile

The very same car, it was a menace all day long! The red Suzuki swift also had vision issues and even pulled out on us in the pit lane without looking!

What were you in? We were in the 2 door Blue Subaru.

Was the chasing GT3 the one that went off after Redgates/Hollywood? The one that didn't have a tow iron... ;-)

I was driving a different Saab but recognise the problem. I was very aware of my car being a bit of a mobile chicane and let people past at every opportunity, but there was a lot of overtaking into and around corners which isn't really on.

What seemed to happen a lot at the pit exit, was that you'd pull over to the right on the straight before the chicane to let people past, then there'd be a queue of traffic overtaking, and people would insist on overtaking (against the rules) around the chicane, which means that you would be stuck on the wrong side of the track. I did once go round for a second cooldown lap because I couldn't get in the pits!

And the yellow GT3 definitely had a towing eye in because I put it myself (not my car though).

Unless a toe iron is something completely different, lol

:-)

We were watching 2 grey/silver coloured 911's chasing each other lap after lap, then the red flags came out and I only counted the silver one back in as the truck headed towards Craners...walked back thru the tunnel and heard the announcement about ensuring 'tow eye' are fitted due to extended delay recovering the offending car.

Soz for confusion
