Chimaera Registration - Previous Cars

Okay, I know I'm a newby here, but the content of these forums are pretty good for search engines.

I see there is a list of owners cars, but as there are no number plates and it is pretty difficult to search them. Is it worth having a list of cars with their number plates (current and past) so that they are able to be seen by the like of Google? It would be very useful for people when tracing their history etc and would help weed out the more unscrupulous TVR vendors, who are inclined to tell the odd porky about the history... There seems to be a fair few posts asking for info about previous reg numbers.

May be a cp idea... down to everyone else... there again, you may not wish to share info with big brother...

To be honest i think its going to be as you said already owners not wanting to post up registrations etc, mine as had two short personal registrations in the past but I would not post them up because they are possibly on other vehicles now and would not want to upset the owners through fear of cloning etc

I agree, a knock on my door earlier this year by a policeman saying a vehicle matching my vans description and reg number (it has a private plate and is very easily remembered) had been spotted commiting a burglary in another county. Thankfully mine was signwritten and it was obvious it was not me, so publishing reg nos is not a good idea.
