On a Tuscan there is a aluminium extrusion across the dash/car between the a posts. What do the other t series cars have? I'm thinking of modifying my Tuscan mk1 dash so would be useful to use some standard components where possible.

There's a tube under the the dash which belongs to the safety-cage, connecting both A Pillars.

The tube is hidden by the trimming, so I can't make any photos...but by searching for some pictures I've found out, that the tube doesn't really connect both pillars.....it goes down to the transmission tunnel. Don't know if it's connected under the Fibreglass...

Probably not, all of the rear elements of the 'rollcage' are only fixed to the fibreglass so I doubt if it's bolted/glued to anything more substantial than the transmission tunnel.

Jesus... that looks like some double side impact - against a tree or a lampost ??? Amazing he walked out of that, but gives me much more confidence in the outriggers and door beam strength !

and ad the rear also to the strut Tower?
