Over a bump....Out go the lights

Took the Tuscan for a winter warm up yesterday as the sun went down over the South Downs - Lovely drive...

Lights we working fine until I went over a bump in the road - nothing major, just usual uneven british country lanes.

Both headlights went out - Side lights and main bean are working fine.

Weird that they both went at the same time, I'm guessing a fuse - Anyone know where they are?

Hey Pacman, the fuses are on the fuse box if i'm not mistaking,

Thanks for link - Nice and simple, Fuse 5 (dipped beam had blown)
Not sure why a bump on the road would cause that - I guess a short somewhere.

Yep, short somewhere. Put a new fuse in and it blew as soon as I turned the switch.

Mine has done this before, it was a loose connection at one of the lamps. Every time I changed the fuse it would blow. Check at both connections I bet there is one disconnected.

As above^^.
OR - could be the fuse holder has got some oxide on it offering a bit of resistance = higher current = fuse blow.
Had this happen on my main beam, after the 2nd fuse blew, I sprayed it with some contact cleaner, been good for at least a year now.
