Recommend me a satnav for a motorbike/Ariel Atom

Hello all,
I'd appreciate any recommendations for a satnav that I can use in an Ariel Atom, so I guess it will have to be one designed for a motorcycle. I have a mega cheapo £50 satnav running an ancient tom tom map in my daily snotter and its perfectly fine for getting me from A to B. I've discovered that as soon as you add "motorcycle" to "satnav" the price rockets. Not looking to spend any more than I have to, but will spend what is necessary to get something suitable. I would like European maps and bluetooth. Not sure what else I "need" as I have very little knowledge in this field.

my dads got the bike sat nav and its basically waterproof with bluetooth and glove friendly.
Personally i use tom tom on my iphone and have headphones, but they are tucked away under a helmet. I have played the tom tom through a BT radio too.
the other option is a iphone in a waterproof holder that attaches to a bar etc.
No solid answers but a few options ti kick about.

I know Garmin make the Zumo 660 for around £430 and the Zumo 350 for £370. Thats Garmins 2 dedicated motorcycle units but they are pretty expensive for what they offer.
I bought the original Zumo 550 for something like £600 back in 2006 when it first came out but a lot of the Garmin base models are now better in technology terms.
I bought a Garmin Nuvi 50 for £80 a few months ago and was thoroughly surprised at what it has for the money, speed limit alerts, 3D junction views,5inch screen etc.
I know on Amazon you can get waterproof satnav case for using car spec satnavs on Motorcylces, a company called Navitech makes them, they sell for around £20. You could have an up to date system for circa £100 then going that route.
The mapping/screen resolutions/GPS technology seems pretty similar across most ranges regardless of the price of the unit your buying.

I wasn't aware you could get a waterproof case for a non motorbike/waterproof satnav. I think I will look into that a bit more as it will stop me getting shafted just to have a "special" motorbike satnav with a special pull your pants down price.

Rather than start a new thread, thought I'd hijack this one!
As a luddite I've generally preferred maps etc etc but I could be persuaded to enter the modern age if I can preload a satnav with routes (weeks in advance of holiday) rather than simply programme in a destination. Is this possible / easy?

This free software is very useful, but bear in mind that many up-to-date satnavs will not accept external routes.
