Train Photography anyone ?

Following on from the “Car Photographers” thread any chance of PH members posting their best/favourite train images.

I’ve started to get a bit more interested in this over the last 12 months and generally have seen some pretty impressive work on quite a few websites.

I used to be really in to railway photography back in the 70's and 80's, but gradually lost interest about 10 years back. I might start picking it back up again now I've moved into the digital age, but so much of what I found interesting back in those days has gone for ever.

I'd love to see some quality railway photography on here though.

I've got some nice ones of the Settle and Carlise Railway I took around 1976, which I'll try and post up ASAP as I am on holiday, but here's one of my Royal Enfield earlier this year at Dent Station, the highest main line station in England....

We used to live in Ffestiniog so steam takes priority in whatever snaps i take when we visit, especially now the portmadog-caernarvon line is open through beddgelert and the aberglaslyn pass
