RR LPG

Can anybody help me with an LPG question. I have a 2002 RR LPG converted and it seems to be cutting out when it switches back to petrol; am I missing something or is there an issue with the system? Thanks

Potentially daft answer but is there any petrol in it? Lots of cars I saw when looking had virtually no petrol in and were never used on petrol. AFAIK its a good idea to use a tank or two of petrol to lubricate things a little.
If you have fuel then might be something wrong sadly.

Has petrol in but I guess the garage ran it very low while it was on the forecourt, so maybe the fuel filter is blocked.

Does it start and warm up on petrol before switching to gas?

It does start and warm up on petrol and all the time I test drove it it ran on petrol. It runs for about 4-5 minutes on petrol when cold. When it starts when warm it goes straight to gas.

Sorry for being dim but why does it switch back to petrol ? My defender 50th 40 petrol startson petrol and then switches to gas never switches back to gas though ?

Yep. I know the feeling stick with it. No other car comes close.

Need to find a good independent service centre in my local area; would feel much happier if it had a good going over!

I used a garage over in Finedon very very good with both my gas RR's.
