Despite having requested parts OVER THREE WEEKS ago from two,as I thought, "reputable" suppliers of wedge components (one of which I have sent two cheques up front) I have still received nothing nd this despite promises over the phone that I will send it today and it will be with you by Monday"
It drives me mad when you try to order things in plenty of time in order to make both the suppliers and your job easier and they fail to deliver.
Is this the same throughout the wedge spare parts supply chain or am I just unlucky?
If anyone knows of a supplier of small parts ,bushes bearings and the like I would like to hear from them, please.
If we ran our business with the efficiency I have so far experienced with so called TVR specialists we would be out of business within 6 months.
OK Rant over.

Don't know who you have tried, but David Gerald TVR were very prompt when I recently ordered wedge parts.

I agree with redwedge5, if you haven't tried David-Gerald TVR in Inkberrow, give them a call. I have dealt with them for years both on wedge and non wedge parts and they have always been prompt, efficient, and easy to deal with.

I have phoned again today and been reliably informed that the parts will be with me tomorrow, (yet again).
Thanks to everyone who has responded so far I would like to say David Gerald is NOT one of the companies I am refering to.

Perhaps I will just deal with them inthe future and ignore so called Wedge Specialists!

ACT has never let me down for service. If only Tim would diversify into a bigger range of Wedge parts.
You listening Tim?

I'll agree with that. Great service PLUS information PLUS helpful. Oh, and the exhaust is good too.

Richard Thorpe is usually OK but can be a bit vague on delivery times on occasions.

Rimmer Brothers are a good source of old Unipart items but you have to know the part number as they are not TVR specialists.

Other than that use Unipart and Ford dealers parts departments locally.
