Random musings of the evening:

What's the cheapest car currently for sale in the classifieds that comes with radar/active cruise control? I was thinking it would be something like an old CL600 for £6k or so, but is there anything cheaper I wonder?

Why would you want it?

It's flawed.
Detects vehicles in left hand lane on motorways and thinks it's in your lane, if on a right hand turn, and applies brakes.
Too harsh in its braking and acceleration after route is clear.

IMO it's just a gimmick and takes the thinking part away from drivers but no doubt it'll be on most cars in 2/3 years.

(Extensively used on Merc S class, 07 and 12 plate cars.)

Used it on an Accord, couldn't agree less.

Anyway, Primera T-Spec, you'd struggle to spend more than 2k on one.

BMW 750IL @ under 3k - very rare option. Stunning car tbh.
