A friend of mine is expecting his first child - he wants something interesting, yet that would be well suited to a little carpet crawler.

Choices I've suggested so far:

- M5
- ML63
- G63
- Range Rover / Sport
- XFR
- Kahn Range Rover Sport (yes I know, but the interiors are gorgeous)
- S63
- E63
- RS6

...anything else worth suggesting? What would you pick? Budget not really an issue so long as it's £100k or less.

The RR for best all round family wagon I guess.

M5 would be my choice of that list

That's what I was going to say... And the same car I was going to say, too. Lovely car.

Well with budgets like that the world is your oyster - have a crappier car for the baby to be sick in....

If it has to be one car that fits all and the enourmous amount of ste people with kids feel the need to kart about:

Rs4 avant
Rs6 avant
M5 Touring
Porsche Cayenne
Porsche Panamera

Would defo have to be one car - he has other stuff, but most time will be spent in the one car.

I like the idea of the Rs4 Avant.
