Just watched a programme about the Pagani Huayra.
The bolts used to build it are titanium and cost 100,000 euro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I thought the stainless steel fixings I used were expensive.
Makes an Ultima look cheap.
One hell of a car though! Now where is that lottery win.

Those Paganis close up are a real feast of engineering excellence, attention to detail second to none, Late Koenigsegg are also top drawer. The bolts used to build it are titanium and cost 100,000 euro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Titanium is mega expensive now, all metal has sky rocketed in price. I used to use titanium fastners from Poggipolini on special bike builds (F1/GP/suppliers) but even the ubiquitous 6mm cap head screw is beyond a joke now.
