I've used that 3D printing at work, very good for marking prototypes quickly. They have very poor strength though.

I believe some companies can now produce printed components out of metal particles then sinter them.

1:3 scale... I want one! :-)

My 1:8 scale is pretty damn fine, but 1:3 *drool*

Indeed. I've got just the place in my lounge for it. George, if chuck you 20p, you couldn't print one out for me could you?

We don't do them, sub con them out.. I can get you the details of them if you want, but I'll warn you now the surface finish is crap really. Also you would need an STL model file of the part that you want - good luck getting one of them for a DB5!
