For those that need to know, powers performance are rather good, know there stuff, will give you what you need from turbos to a nice standard engine re build, my 2000 model is being cared for by Dom as we speak, good god a long warrantee Ta boot, what more do you want, engine parts ain't cheap and there's alot to replace and machine, the man is saving my life and at 48 thou, my Chimi can live another 12 years before a re build??? Christ all power and speed must be paid for so stop moaning about the odd frailty, Germans die for our motors. Dom is at the heart of this mini industry offering tons of knowledge, just like many others keeping us in faith, we' d be f

At the end of the day we all love our tiv's including Dom so your in safe hands, jeez I can't bloody wait, hey I'm all standard at the mo, give it 12 months and upgrade the engine mapping. It's good sence, and nice for the engine. Mbe has anyone got it?!! I know it's a mod but hey, fuel prices etc. We gotta see sence lol. curiosity really 
The engine breathes resulting in huge oil leaks from crank gaskets etc, the engine runs great otherwise? No smoke at all, Dom will inform me when engines stripped, liner or valve I assume, can't verify the first 40,000 miles or how engine was driven so it's bad but someone had to re build her, hey I can see the alps and the open road ahead next year, top gear eat your heart out, Tvr forever,
You sound not so sure? Any knowledge is usefull! I dunno, While engines out might aswell re fresh the old girl, 12 yrs old after all, I do know she was in Scotland for years, those hills and extreme temps maybe, bad cold start driving, I should trace the long time owner , race track use who knows, all I know is I want her sweat as s nut and I've listened to a few Dom engines and they don't rattle, the 4.6 is a rangie with very little Tvr involvement so a nice cam and chains bog standard parts otherwise, should be good for awhile!?!??!!?!!??!!??! Oupps top hat liners so non standard!
What rebuild did you decide on?
Regarding the MBE ECU there is a guy on the follwoing thread who has recently had an SC400 build by Dom with MBE control.
