I originally intended to use a NES controller but the wire is offset so won't 'dangle' properly.

The whole hanging stuff from your rear tow eye started in Japan. From what I remember it started off with gangs doing it with bit of government property as a sort of finger to the state (grab handles from the subway where popular). It then started becoming popular with the drift crowd as its a good measure of slip angle and then all sorts of soft toys were tied to the back of cars.

It now has fallen with the "dub" crowd who have no idea how it all started but don't want to be different so they now stick all sorts of crap on the back of their FWD golfs and what not.

I assume the OP has put a more comic twist on this by using an retro console controller.
