E92 M3 Power loss

Hi, my E92 M3 2008 ESS charged car has developed frustrating power problem. Sometimes when red lined and change gear car wont go above 6/7000 rpm when accelerate again, misfires and holds back. If I throttle off and accelerate again it will again red line ok. Fault code showed o2 sensor which was replaced but fault still there. Got new oem plugs in car. Doesnt always do this but will when pushed ie on a track day ! Any suggestions gratefully recieved. Would coil packs or fuel filter cause this ? Local dealer clueless. Help please !!

Don't really think you can expect a dealer to be much use given the "mild" modifcation to the car ;-)

You need to find a specialist, or if it were me, I'd be back to where the SC was fitted.

Ask this Q on M3cutters.co.uk, there are others with a similar set up and I believe they have had their issues too. Also talk to Evolve.

Hi, thanks for reply. I have posted this problem on M3 cutters and got no advice as yet ! It is a tricky one. Also car has been to Evolve for a week and they thought they had found the problem in one of the O2 sensors, but problem still there ! Back to Evolve methinks !
