"Welcome to the unofficial website for POLICE CRAP, the POLICE Campaign to Really Alienate the Public.

www.btinternet.com/~brentours/PC2004.htm

www.btinternet.com/~brentours/PC2003.htm

Example:

"Richard 'I've got a 6% burglary clear-up rate and I don't care' Brunstrom, chief of North Wales Police and (incredibly) spokesman for the police on transport, has called for more speed cameras and for more to be hidden. Why has this pathetic lame-brained moron not been sacked yet?"

That has to be one of the nastiest web pages I have ever seen. No, not the content but the hideous two tone pink migrain inducing background.

Unfortunately we live in a country where the Police will never be appreciated. The points which the site makes are all aimed at Politicians and Senior Officers. It's the poor old Plod on the streets who get the publics wrath. Personally i think the site is very unfair.........

If no-one in North Wales who drives a car voted, at either local or national elections, and told them why. Maybe, just maybe they would get the message.

A nice story from Down Under. A Canberra police speed camera van got 17 tickets after thieves stole its number plate and sped past every speed camera they could find.

I do tend to agree but just remember politicians refuse to comply with the emlpoyers i.e THE PUBLIC
Senior Officers are more Blunketts puppets than anything else at the moment.

The plod on the street can make the difference and follow what he thinks is right to do. All they then have to do is pass it up the chain of command the message might just get through.

The police have 3 huge parliamentary lobby groups, The police federation, Superintendants Association and The ACPO. They can tell the Government that the way things are going is totally wrong.
Then we might have a situation where persecution of drivers eases and they are free to catch the little bads who are commiting real crimes, i.e ones that actually harm people directly.

Dreadful website, and i'm not talking about the hideaous colour scheme...

I fail to see how something so negative can have any use whatsoever. In addition, the factual content is somewhat questionable too....

Well its nice to see that the spelling and grammer brigade is out again to completely overshadow the issue at hand...

I actually agree with a lot of the points on the website (note for gemini - I am not having a pop at individual police etc etc etc etc blah blah blah) and I also agree with the utter frustration of seeing the blundering oafs of chief constables make stupid decisions and making the non-criminal public and lower ranks suffer for their incompetance.

Good on him if he is bringing the message that the CC's are mostly ar*eholes that are more interested in money than anything else.

There are a couple of points in there that I dont fully agree with fair enough and the colour scheme needs work Other than that I find it interesting reading.

Problem is...a lot of what is written is either factually inaccurate or naive in the extreme as to what actually is needed to comply with the law and legislation.

In an ideal world, all sorts of things would be different, but it's not an ideal world.

Its not an ideal world - granted.

But only the people can change it to make it an ideal world. If everyone wonders around saying its not an ideal world and it never can be, then it never will be.

The site is a good reflection of the world I live in.

Reality is that when joe public meets police he gets told not to waste their time and go away.

So people stop reporting things.

Now it feels like the most common contact the 'none criminal population' have with police is a NIP.

Oh sorry forgot that anyone who recives a NIP is now a criminal.

The thing is the majority of it is harsh but fair... If you search on the news for any of the things mentioned here they are based on facts - just expressed in a 'tounge in cheek way' and one that I find highly amusing.

These two sites ought to be compulsory reding for all ACPO's and Government officials.
It might get the message across - then again, it probably wouldn't and the poor chap would get arrested for inciting anti- police feelings !

If everyone got arrested that had anti-police feelings, the roads would indeed be very empty.

Maybe thats the plan....

Afternoon Streetcop. How was your day?
In your opinion, what percentage of the public have an anti police attitude. Explain why you think they are anti police. Just interested really.
