Just picked this up today. Speedo said 82k but more like 180k....

Driving really well- engine smooth as silk, but the suspensions shot. All electrics work which was a pleasant surprise! In two minds with what to do with it- I bought it in case I need some bits for my w124 v12 project (and I liked the wheels), but it seems a sin to break it....

A Superb bargain! This W124 V12 project sounds rather interesting too, do you have a build thread running anywhere?

I haven't done much research as yet- I only got it home at 10pm last night.
It all depends on what I need to get me w124 going. I bought it to take the ECU off and any ancillaries- The longer term plan is for a standalone ECU so I may sit on the car and put it back together again when I'm finished with the original on the 124.

Don't have a thread for the conversion yet- was planning to post on when I was near completion- God knows when that will be....
Engine, box, R129 rear subframe, propshaft all in.We are going to have to get "creative" with the sump and steering box to make it fit but nothing too difficult hopefully...

Brave! But absolutely fantastic!

I remember going out in an S500 when on work experience a few years back, the kick down made me grin from ear to ear for several minutes. I can only imagine the 600 being even better.cool
