Has anyone else noticed a marked deterioration in radio reception in the last few weeks, particularly when on the move. I mentioned it to a few people who seem to have noticed same. In my case it has become all but unlistenable when in the Glasgow area I am beginning to wonder if it has something to do with the launch of the 4G network. Basically signal fades in and out and becomes very noisy and crackly.
I have to go to Stirling then Linlithgow today so I'll see how it fares by comparison. Can't say I noticed anything unusual when in deepest Sth Lanarkhire last week either. I'm mystified and don't want to assume it's a fault until I can see if there is a pattern to it. Can any of you either she'd any light or report your findings?
Many thanks

What radio station do you normally listen to? If its one of the local stations like real radio,forth1 or clyde the further you are from their transmitters the worse the signal will be.

I have always found radio reception to be quire shocking around Grangemouth/bottom of Falkirk. I put it down to the refinery doing something to the signal. The reception around Linlithgow is pretty good most of the time.

I found it really bad over the past month in Aberdeen, so changed the unit in that car to a DAB and it's the best £200 I've ever spent! Crackle free radio and bluetooth tunes from the iPhone, goodbye cd's!
