My Clio 182 after a visit to K-Tec...
Discussion
Hi guys, first time I've posted my own car here... please be nice lol.
This is my second Clio 182 and I've owned it around a year now so thought I'd treat it to some goodies. I chucked on some 3/4 plates and Bosch Areo wipers then took it along to K-Tec for Speedline 2118's & Toyo rubber, along with KTR coilvers and carbon fibre splitter. Next up will be a performance pack from Engine Dynamics (previously BB Tuning) which consists of an exhaust system, air filter, remap and a dyno run! I hope to get on a track for the first time next year...
This is my first attempt at SLR photography as well... I fear I've jumped into manual mode a bit too quickly, but I guess they look okay? Any comments and/or critisim welcome on the car or ineed the photography! Thanks.

Very nice, always liked these, but i could never get over the stigma of Renault reliability.
They're no worse than any other car imho, yes, the interiors are a bit plasticy, but the mechanicals are reliable. To be honest, when you can replace the engine/box for £400, who cares if it breaks.Lovely looking car btw. 2118's are a classic.

KTR is a dangerous website, I remember when I was planning on getting a 200 cup, playing with the configurator on the renault website whilst making my shopping list on KTR
Very smart car, looks fun!
Mate I've spent hours on K-Tec's website lol, so it felt really good to finally get there! Sure that won't stop now although after this car there's not really another Renault I fancy, apart from another R5 GT Turbo one day.
Very smart car, looks fun!

Not IME they aren't.And if you can replace the engine and gearbox for £400 why does anyone bother to get the cambelts done, why not just replace the engine?

No doubt some are reliable, but in two attempts I never managed to find these elusive cars

Because thats prob second hand engine price, and I imagine you'd want to be doing a cambelt on that too
