Hi all, just wondered if anyone knew anyone in or around Manchester area that could do a POP and bang map on my evo 6? Also approximately how much it costs, any side affects? Damage to turbo/exhaust/manifold? Thanks in advance

LOL! There is no such thing as a "pop and bang" remap unless it's been remapped badly of course and is over fueling which isn't a good idea for your engines longevity.

What you want is to decat your exhaust and or change the backbox for something less restrictive then the standard unit, then when your exhaust gets nice and hot, it will pop and bang.

Hahahaha!! Hmm.. well there is, negative timing can be changed as part of the timing 'map' and yes it is a form of overfuelling, but you can get a 'map' to make the car POP and bang, Google it. I have a blitz nur spec r de cat stainless exhaust which does pop and bang a little, but I want it more more more!!!

Might be better for your wallet if you just get one of those soft cut rev limiters fitted so you can set it for 4k and pop away to your hearts content.

A mates turbo seemed to poop itself pretty quickly after he was messing around with his Bee R thing installed.

You want it to pop and bang. Just have a few spare ones on standby and you'll be fine.
