Bedford NES

Hi All,

Does anyone know how Bedford run a track day on the same day as their "how fast" event on the west circuit. There is a track day next Monday described as an NES day and there is also a How Fast day on the same date. I assume that NES means North East South and they therefore re-configure the track for these days but no idea on whether the reconfigured track is any good, particularly long, is a much slower circuit etc etc.

If anybody's been on one of these track days I'd appreciate some feedback.

I think you,ll find its the SEN circuit. Bedford full circuit is massive ( not done it yet, will be next week hopefully) and the west circuit and the SEN can be run at the same time. The SEN looks a decent size.
I have however done a How fast session on the West circuit though and to be quite honest its not the greatest (IMO) and the hour and a bit you get out on track is pretty terrible value for money, especially at the moment with all the trackday prices being so low.You can see the cars running the SEN while you are running the west, and I found myself wishing I,d booked that instead.

I have driven the full 4.2 mile GT and the 2.8 mile SEN - the latter setup is much more enjoyable with a greater proportion of each lap at faster speeds than the former.

Don't fret and book it.
