May be a daft question but how do they test the angle of the rear fog light during the IVA?

I only ask as ive fibreglassed mine into position on the rear and now it has set ive noticed its tilted slightly upwards and therefore no longer at 90degrees. How much tolerence do they give you?

If it doesn't look like it's at 90; then it'll fail. If you argue the fact they'll measure it and it'll fail. The book says 90' so there's no lee way.

Quote "If it doesn't look like it's at 90; then it'll fail."

I'm not sure this is correct - but by all means I'll eat humble pie if proved wrong.
Too lazy to look is up now, but I think IVA says it must point to the rear, and gives an angle of upward and downward visibility (if that makes sense) - having said that, the nearest to horizontal has to be best.

I'm sure the manual says there is a leeway of 5 degrees either way.

But as said, as long as it looks vertical, I'm sure it will be fine.

The words are..

'Fitted so that the reflector is facing squarely to the rear'

The 5 degree up or down is the angle through which you have to be able to see at least 50% of the reflective surface i.e. not obstructed by anything else.
