I'm not sure why, but reading this single phrase seems to cause me to involutarily direct the mouse towards the 'X' button for the window. Is it just me? Are there any other single-phrase-instant deal-breakers?

Bah, I turned up to test drive a normally aspirated MR2 in my TVR, only to be told by the owner that it was a "bit fast"... I didn't buy it*

*who will be the first to say it was too fast for me?!? Place your bets now

"XXXXX careful miles"

You are a trader/dealer mate, you take main dealer trade ins and auction cars for stock, you have no idea if the miles were accrued cruising on the motorway inside lane at 50mph in 6th or at 25mph bouncing off the limiter in 1st. And if your trying to tell me that, I'll take the view that you are generally full of the brown stuff and my business will go elsewhere..

Correct would be: drives superbly.
My favorite is: Emergency sale (before the MOT causes big bills?)

drives superb is fit inducing to me, as is "most desirable colour combination" usually followed by "of ox-cum white and syphilitic minge green".

One of the few that will actually make me instantly lose interest. If the owner is too lazy to get (what he thinks will be a straight through MOT) then what the hell does that say about the rest of the car, in regards to corners being cut, servicing etc....

Much like the pesky' ole regas.

Both these jobs are £40 at Kwik Fit. It's not difficult. Oh, wait... Your aircon's actually fked and the car will fail on lots of points. I see!

I'm not going to say it was too fast, but it was definitely naturally aspirated.
