Evening guys, my little sister has asked me to have a look at a 2005 cab for her on saturday.

I've been in the car trade for a number of years but don't have any experience of the new minis so any points to look out for would be greatly received!

cheers

The hood can wear so check it over carefully, particularly just above where the front and rear windows meet. Check both front seats run forward and tilt to give access to the rear.
That's all on mine and we've had it since new in 2005.

Thanks Bompey,i'm a car trimmer by trade so have seen a few hood problems with them, one of which is one side slides back and the other is jammed (broken) as said hood wear around the back is quite heavy..i'll cheak the seats tho thanks :-)

anything else to look for?

They changed the roof mechanism on builds from september 2005 if I remember rightly. I would go for one of these over the original design as it is supposed to have better roof wear.

I had a GTT strutbrace and and OMP lower brace on mine and it stiffened it up and reduced the flex.

I still miss mine.
