Just to put a spinner on this one - i find 20w too thick for the RV8 - certainly in my 500.
You could hear the circulation from the oil pump taking forever when cold especially in Winter. Similarly i found 5W too thin.
I tend to use 10W50 which seems to be the optimum cold start - only MO though
