It might just be me but has anyone else noticed a steady rise in proper sports cars over the last year or so?

Point in case, Porsche 964's, now starting at £15-£20k.
TVR Chims, Griffs etc. similar price.
TVR T cars - £15-£20k
BMW Z coupes - £10k-15k, more for later models
Porsche 928 manuals - £10k-£15k starting.

It seems to me, over the last year these have all creeped up about £5k as the starting point for each. Is it simply that as they get older there is less of them?

Or is the entry level for a proper sports car going up?

Good examples of each seem to be pushing high twenties and £30k plus. There will be the cars needing work at the lower end but they normally stand out.

Feels like the closer i get to owning one of these "goal cars" the more they move out of reach, little by little.

Am i right or am i going slightly daft?

The cost of "future classics" is always the same - a bit more than when they were just an old car. It's just the age window keeps moving on!
I don't know about those specific models, but certainly the late '80s/early '90s stuff I've been keeping an eye on has been going up.
