Looking for some easy to moderate Green laning around Holmfirth / Huddersfield. Suitable for a team of Disco 2, Disco 3, 110 (one with winch). Drivers have mixed abilities from little to average but hoping for safety in numbers.
All suggestions welcomed
Cheers
Matt

Suprised BenJJ and Burianna haven't given you some ideas already as they've played on some 'soft roaders' green lanes?

You could try to contact Chrs (Fly Boy) on here as I know he loves his LR90 & taking it literally everywhere. Only thing is he works out of the country quite a lot, but if you drop him a PM, he might be able to give you some clues.

FFS, just typed out a monster of a reply for this with maps and everything, then the website crahsedfurious

Anyway, I'll do a short but sweet one, i live in Holmfirth and know a couple of decent places from the days of my mates old 90.

1. Hirst Lane, Cumberworth - Gate Foot Lane to Scar Hole Lane...then on to..
2. Cheese Gate Nab Side, Jackson Bridge - Dick Edge Lane to Meal Hill Lane...then on to..
3. Loose Road, Hade Edge - Dunford Road to Linshaws Road (short but sweet and cuts a road out)..then..
3. Ramsden Road, Holmbridge - White Gate Road to Rake Head Road.

All of the above have little off shoots and play areas created by others which are fun. I have fond memories of charging down ramsden road sat on the bonnet of said 90, what it is to be 18 and stupid!

Quick pint in Holme village then the same in reverse, or do it t'other way around and end at the pub.

I'll add more as i remember them
