what did you think to the rapide?
If I was in the market for a four door with room in the back for my two children that don't drive it would be high on the list. The active switchable suspension is superb and the V12 sound glorious. Sport mode and firm suspension setting really transforms the car and it feels very nimble. yeti said:
I'm sure he's tucking in right now
Sounds fantastic Simon, did driving two V12s make you think of a jump..?
The V12V had sublime torque and turbine smoothness. May sound odd but I prefer the noise of the V8 when pressing on but that may be because that's all I'm used to. I'd have a V12V in a heartbeat though Sounds fantastic Simon, did driving two V12s make you think of a jump..?

Fancy going twos up on a new exhaust? Mine's going in next week.
I think February will be my time when it goes back to BR for a service The best thing I've done recently is fit the V12V gear knob. It makes the gear changes so much nicer. Not sure why although Adrian did try and explain it to me.
I do thoroughly recommend the Halford Hotel full English breakfast though

I have the V12/DBS gear knob, too. I know what you mean. Somehow seems more.........balanced, positive. The best thing I've done recently is fit the V12V gear knob. It makes the gear changes so much nicer. Not sure why although Adrian did try and explain it to me.

Perhaps a quick scoot to the crooked chimney would be in order once the new pipes have been fitted. February may be an expensive month!

Balanced and positive - exactly the words. Adrian put it down to the top weight in the knob helping achieve the effect of almost pulling the knob into the next gear. Let's do the Chimney when you get yours back. It would be good to see what you think and hear the beast

Don't drive one unless you intend to buy one!!!!! it's been said many times I agree on the noise, until you have a BR exhaust Cockernee said:

I was talking about you me old cocker! I was with a driver (who was an ex-racer and his son currently races Radicals and competes in the LMP2 endurance series) who said he knows you and was with you a few weeks back when you drove the V12 Roadster. I think he said he was also at Spa when you were there. I can't remember his name (he had greyish hair) but he said to say hi v8woollie said:
