I'm admitting defeat an servicing my calipers as well as replacing my front discs (again) as i suspect the calipers have warped the set i fitted last year.

I'd like to get a set of calipers to service on the coffee table first, then swap out to cut down on the amount of time it's not drivable, does anyone know if the 3.0 m3 front calipers fit, or even if anyone has a set they fancy flogging?

IIRC 3.0 and 3.2 front calipers are the same.

Yep, same calipers, same disc fitment, but the 3.2 came with the fancypants floating discs from the factory.
The hub knuckle bit is different though.

Yep, it's the same caliper. The only difference was the angle of the hub to the shock (not important here) and the fact they came from the factory with floating instead of solid discs.

Bril, cheers. So if i can find a set of 3.0 calipers and sliders i can do the service and rebuild remotely.

I just got a set of NOS evo floating discs for 165 quid, that's a bloody result at least. Checked the yellowstuffs on it, theyre virtually unworn but i'll bung em in a box and use them after the new discs are bedded in i guess.

Is there much improvement from braided hoses on these? I'm debating doing them too so i can at least feel like ive upgraded it in the process a bit.

Braided hoses always worth doing imo.

Found a set of HEL ones on ebay for less than forty quid, any good? Just two hoses, one per caliper i take it?

There's a goodridge set, I think it should be 6 lines, and that might be better value.

On the rear, might as well do them when the fluid is out.

There should be 2 lines on each side, going to a little S bend on the trailing arm.

No real important bleed orders, handiest thing to do is use some ATE super blue fluid, and you'll it when it comes through.

Blue fluid, you say? Witchcraft!

I just want it to drive right, the rest of the car is still excellent but the brakes really let it down atm.

Furthest away from the fluid reservoir first (NSR), work your way round to closest last (OSF).

I would always buy oem discs.
Others seem to not be up to scratch...and warp.

Do Eurocarparts do discs for these? I got some for my E46 M3 from them and they came in BMW boxes with all the BMW part number stickers on.
Stick you reg in their search and see. If they do there will be a discount code giving up to 31% off somewhere.
Just had a quick look and it seems like they do.

Just looked them up on euros but no mention of floating discs and generic pics. Ive had bad experiences with euros cocking up stuff like that before tbh.

Bit concerned about the discs i just paid for. Paypalled the money at 4pm as a direct transfer to avoid fees and ive yet to hear back from the seller. Can i get it back if it's a scam? Payment isnt directly linked to the item on ebay, just a direct transaction.

Not if you've sent the money as a gift, no.
