DHL.......Oooppss
Discussion
Flew out of Bratislava this morning, whilst waiting for that quality airline! (Ryanair)
I could see a large DHL cargo plane with it's A**e in the air on the grass verge, looks
as though it was missings it's nose wheel assembly, ooppss!
Saying that, a women stood behind me was telling her husbands "it's one of those cargo planes
that transports cars, they've got to lower the front so they can drop the back and drive the
cars in" I had to bite my lip to stop me bursting into laughter, oh dear.

Good idea - and then the last car in goes to the back which tips it level again so it can take off cars in

Question is, did the nosewheel failure take it on the grass or did the grass cause the nosewheel to fail?
Seems nose gear collapsed on rollout and then it went off the runway: http://avherald.com/h?article=4591cb7d&opt=0rolty said:

Perhaps the husband was terrified of flying and the woman had gone to great lengths to coax him aboard a flight and was now desperately trying to prevent her husband fleeing the airport in terror? Unless the thing was going up in a huge ball of flame then it was probably worth a punt.that transports cars, they've got to lower the front so they can drop the back and drive the

She was a 'gobby' know it all type, with a very loud cockney accent (nothing against cockney's) got to say her moustache was impressive, probably taking part in movember?
I which case he probably had no say in the matter. He was getting on that plane regardless of any phobia he may have suffered!
