TVR density in your area
Discussion
I like the road I work in. We have my Cerb, suffolkfoxys Wedge, another Wedge & a Chimaera all in the space of 150 yards (take a wander out to stare down the road every now and then and the comments from the public are great as we are on a 'walk-into-town' street).
Any more than that in one area (excluding those of you working in TVR itself, dealers and specialists before you start

Not many here....(I know that wasn't the question)
Over 600 employees here and 1 TVR.
Over 400 Golfers at my club 2 TVR's.
........................................
Over 600 employees about 10 Boxtas, 20 MX5's and countless TT's. and NO I don't work in a hairdressers...![]()
Hairspray manufacturers?
I am told by my friendly postie that there is one Griff in the main village, half mile up the road to me.
It is one of the last 100 apparently, although I have never seen it about. It may be for sale soon, my postie tells me. Must know all the local gossip!!
Other than that its all bloodly tractors and horses

One hundred and twenty Consultants in my hospital. My Cerbera only TVR in docs car park, though one Consultant's husband has a 350i in the garage and someone in management has an older 400 Chim. Two other senior docs HAD TVR's both now sold for usual reliability problems inc. an early Griff.
See a couple of other Cerb's in the town now and then, otherwise low density down here in Taunton, oooaarrrggghhh!

On my estate there is a Wedge (390 I think), a Tuscan, my Griff 500, a Cerbera 4.5 and until recently (he's now sold) my neighbours Griff 500. All within shouting distance from each other!
Edited to say: not my estate but the estate I live on!

Not all in the village, but within a mile -
My vixen
Tuscan S
350SE x 2
Griff 500
and a hillclimbing wedge which spends a lot of time getting prepped by a chap just behind my house.
- Not bad.
(at the same time, the MX5s, TT's and BMiniWs appear to be breeding, although thankfully not with each other - that would be strange indeed)

Not many around Bedford me thinks. an unfinished Chim re-build about 2 miles away
COME ON Q1 SORT IT OUT
Used to be Noddles and his Cerb 4.2 but he is missing in action, and i think he has sold it.
Theres Plasticman thats about 8 miles away and i am yet to meet him and his Griff with Tuscan front end. Also a Yellow Griffith about 15 miles away, I think its the guy who runs Cambs TVRCC.
Seen a couple of golf carts going around town now and again but not much to see here

I've quite often seen 'spotted' posts on here in my town Burgess Hill and the surrounding areas, but I can't remember the last time I saw another TVR when out in mine? I think Cosmoschick lives nearby in the, shall we say less upmarket part of midsussex called Haywards Heath
but I'm not certain of any other nearby ph'ers.
Where are you all!!!

There's 4 or 5 of us Horsham way
Come on over

A few years ago TVRCC had the idea to send members' lists to the ROs by post code. So the RO could see all the new and joining members in his locality. I was shocked at how many there are in my area - literally hundreds - but I see so few on the road.
I think there's a lot of closet owners out there who just don't drive their cars.

I see quite a few Chimaeras around, one silver Tuscan, a purple Cerbie now and again. Heard about Dexy's Ivory wedge. One T350. One green Vixen (a locum GP, I think).
Mind you I have trouble seeing past the floatilas of Vogues, Freelanders, those big BM monstrosities, and the odd Cayenne.
As for 'roadsters' a few TTs and about 3.5 million MX5s.
I'm just waiting for the same sort of conversation Johnn had recently, disturbing the relative tranquility of a silver 3 series BM neighbourhood.

I live in the Netherlands and there are 4 TVR's within a 5 mile area! A Vixen, two 350i's and a griff 4.3 oh and they are all in our garage..........
There are some 300 maybe 350 TVR's over here, mostly chims, griffs and S's but also a few older types!

Only one other TVR in my area....although when I last spoke with him he was eyeing up a Corvette!!!
I'm really glad we don't have any other TVRs in our street.....
The neighbours have been soooo good about the
decibels
the Peril puts out
I don't think they would be so laid back if there were any more around!!
