Hello all!
As some of you may remember that I have posted a few posts asking for some tips for my Euro trip back in September. Sorry for taking so long to share my experience. First of all thank you so much for those giving me some valuable advices, and a discounted rate of the vignette (you know who you are - hope you are enjoying your trip in Holland as I speak!!). So here is the statistic: 3 cars – a Tuscan, a Z4 and a Boxter. 9 days and 7 destinations: London-Nurburgring (via Calais, Belgium, Luxembourg)-Freiburg (via Black Forest)-St Moritz (via, Furka Pass, St Bernardino Pass and Stelvio Pass) – Genoa (via Lake Como) – Monaco – St Flour (via Millau Bridge) – Le Mans – back to London (via Calais). To no surprise for the fellow TVR owners that the car has been absolutely fantastic even after 4 laps abuse on the Ring, Swiss mountains altitude, through italian torrential rain and mediterranean sun shine, total of 2767 miles from my garage door to back to my garage door. The car did not miss a beat except .......ran out of petrol at Monaco, which was a human error....me of course!!! I was enjoying hooning around so much, trying the Monaco Track in Singapore GP style so forgot to check the petrol gauge. Luckily I took a jerry can with me, so I was just enjoying all the attention and admiration from the people while my friends went off and fetched some petrol for rescue. If you ever need your attention seeking fixed, take your TVR to Europe. As they say a picture speaks a thousand words. Here are a few shot to share with you all. I hope you enjoy them.

Nice pics and a good write up. Running out of petrol in Monaco ..........what a shocker. Obviously enjoying the drive so much, you did not look at the gauges.
Glad to hear yor car behaved itself.
No doubt you would have had to stop frequently, and wait for your friends to catch up.......

Monaco looked like night time. Was it not too busy then? We drove there midday a few days before the GP and it was way too busy.
It was almost midnight, and it was quite quiet actually. We managed to have a few clear runs. We didn't want to go too mad, there were plenty of police there. In fact we saw them stopping a few boy racers - Clio, 206, Ford Focus alike. I guess we were deemed as the local posh boy racers with a TVR, BMW and a Porsche..We have been to a few of those places in the TVR and the sensible car. Millau viaduct is quite large.

Thank you Dave. How the devil have you been lately? Yeah, it was a fantastic trip and ought to do it more often really. Out of interest, I recalled seeing one of your photos parked outside the Casino and got a photo taken. How the hell did you pull that off?
