Padding on Cockpit roll cage
Discussion
I used this as a temporary measure fitted over roll bar padding.
OMP roll bar padding (exact stuff makers numbers and all) is available from plumbers merchant at a fraction of their cost.
N.B. their padding is NOT FIA /MSA approved.

Hello Bluesatin, ask these guys http://www.kbaggstrimming.co.uk/index.html. I would be interested to know if they can do the work? Hopefully worth a call, I know they are not local and they are not going to be cheap I expect! I may be looking for the same thing in the near future for my new toy. I know they have worked on an Ultima in the past. Ult-Jim

FC: is that stuff for padding against a bump of head when you're getting in and out. Looks nice but does nothing more? or is it proper hard stuff?
The padding I used is closed cell pipe lagging (soft as s
te) but as you say may help stop you bashing your head if you are tall. The padding OMP sell is identical but £18.00 a length as opposed to £3.50 from the plumbers.
with the covers on it's not too bad (not up to a trimmers standard) for the time being.
The FIA stuff is hard as nails (intended for blunt force trauma to a helmet!)and would hurt if you banged your head agaunst it!
