Need new tyres

I bought my bike a few months ago and straight away I had a bulge in the rear tyre. So it was changed by the shop.
Out on it today and I can feel the unmistakable feeling of a flat stop or budlge.
So I need some new tyres, I am very powerfully built and this might be taken into amount.

Running kenda 700 x 23?

Budget? Requirements?

If you're of a more "powerful" build, may I suggest running something wider (25 or even 28, if you've the clearance)? It'll ride better and not require, ahem...higher...pressures to avoid pinching.

Budget, after something decent but not too expensive. £20 - £30
Requirements - to match current ones. Bogo slicks.

I should have room to go wider, any advantages or disadvantages?
Might try some decent branded ones first as these are cheapo crap

Took the tyre off and found that the tyre is pretty much trash.
So off to the LBS tomorrow.

OP..I had exactly the same issue on the same tyres...your bike isn't a Carrera by any chance?

I went for the Schwalbe Luganos which have been perfect so far.

well that is enough for me to bin them. Picked up a set of Continental Ultra Sports

They look quite nice too
