What deals are on new RRSports?
Discussion
Did a bad thing today and wandered into my local LR/RR dealer. Instantly fell for the new shape RRSport Autobiography in that dark metallic blue, with the 2-tone blue and white perforated leather. Trick was that the OTR price was circa £71k. Ouchy! Bloody lovely car though and the driving position was perfect. I actually didnt want to get out of it!
My question to you is, are there deals out there similar to that offered by the likes of Merc on thier AMG range (ie, monthly lease / hire payments that are lower than the depreciation id suffer buying new)? Ive got a 2007 BMW M5 Tourer to chop in but i dont want to have to re-mortgage the house to do it.

Know the feeling...recently chopped in my Evoque for a high spec (lots of options on it) RR Sport HSE SDV6 with 4500 miles on it. I figured I'd find one less than 12 months old with the spec I wanted by searching Nationally and then look for the best deal from those available. I decided not to get new because there is an all new model based on the new FFRR coming out for 2013/14 so limiting depreciation was key. To answer your question then: I couldn't find a deal to accommodate the depreciation that will definitely hit a brand new car. To give you an idea, the one I bought suffered a £14k hit in less than one year by the first owner...and that's without the new one affecting it next year!
I've had my 'new RRS' for 4 days now and it is a very nice drive and prefer it to the Discovery 4 and Evoque that preceded it.

Hi Eddie, the RRS is a lovely car. If you want to try one just let me know. There is a new model coming out next year and this will have an effect on pricing on the current one but not just yet. There are deals to be done on new cars but a used one or ex demo will see the greatest saving. Send me a message or if your at the pub club we can chat then

On a new HSE I was offered 8% initially to try to tempt me away from a year old vehicle that I was looking at another dealer. I went with the year old and then they offered me 10% off. The year old was £14k off of the new price.
Crazy discounts in the UK. I sell new Sports with typically $1k - $1500 max off. Ave MSRP is $67k. (HSE LUX)We're still selling Evoques at full MSRP and have sold almost all of our first 4 months allocation of the new FFRR for full sticker. West coast dealers will sell the new FFRR for a premium.
