964 modifications
Discussion
Evening,
So am about to have some mods done to my 964 C2. At the moment it is completely original, but I fancy a bit of a change so am doing a few things listed below.
For a bit of fun does anyone have suggestions for other things to do? Car is a weekend toy and won't ever be tracked. Only thing with the mods is that I must be able to change it back to original state if required fairly easily.
So current list:
- Original cup 1s (possibly in white)
- Bilstein B6s Sports (lowered ride height)
- HR springs
- Tear drop mirrors
- RS pipe
Before picture, I'll post after when all done!

Cheers

First thing I did to mine was replace the steering wheel. Second thing was to paint the D90 wheels anthracite.
I looked at getting cup wheels, but originals are hard to find at a reasonable price. Spare set of D90s and refinishing cost me £400.
I've also replaced the pink/faded rear light panel, and upgraded the audio.

Leave the Cups and Tears on the shelf. Soon yours will be a unique C2 without them (and they look better and ride nicer)!

100% needs to be lowered. Front end needs lowering more than the back to stop it looking like its taking off.
Great car and I am missing mine.
More is less.
Good luck

Obviously this is all subjective But Id fit the tear drops.
Some other suggestions
I also like the RS brake ducts.
definitely lower it.
Primary bypass exhaust
remap
and light weight flywheel when fitting a new clutch.
Oh another cheap mod that made a lot of difference Wevo engine mounts. easy DIY.
All depends what you want the car to be.
these wheels look good on 964's IMO and they are light

If memory serves. You should not ffit 18" wheels to a 964, especially on early ones. Nice wheels though. Some other suggestions

That is the adviceIt came from a failure of a car that was constantly used on track IIRC.
For general road use and occasional track use its considered by most not a problem.
Biggest issue is tram lining.
they do those in 17 inch as well offsets are not perfect so spacers may be needed.

Different hubs will sort that out.It came from a failure of a car that was constantly used on track IIRC.
