Currently sitting in a room, chatting away to a driver who knows for a fact that he has a suspended licence yet he continues to drive.

He drove here and will drive away.

Should I report this?

Opinions please.

Just tell him you know and don't agree. If he gets shirty report him, if he listens to your wise words , don't.

Doesn't that mean he's uninsured? I'd imagine the people he drives into would rather you had.

Isn't dialling 112 and reporting it the right thing to do? I'd do it without thinking twice.

Yep, no need to make a song and dance about it, just a call to CrimeStoppers with any details you have and it'll be followed up.

I have spoken to him about it and based on what was said I think it would be fairly obvious that it was me who reported him if they mentioned anything at all about them receiving a report of any kind.

I am not concerned about repercussion, just don't want him having a clue. A totally random stop if you like.

Considering making an anonymous call advising of someone maybe abusive and looking too young to drive.

Maybe not though.

He is not a friend of any kind, just in a larger circle of acquaintances.

Grow a set! Tell him you are going to report him and then report him.

If you feel bad about that, just ask yourself how you would feel if he killed someone?

What's the licence suspended for? If he's a danger because of some medical condition, would you like to be the one who cared enough to have the dilemma but not enough to stop him passing out at the wheel and killing that woman? It's no dilemma, it's a duty.

You're overly concerned with his feelings. Compare that to his view of other people's feelings and you'll see there's an imbalance going on

I believe because he suffers from an illness that could be problematic.

Received a year ban and I assume has problems with the dvla while reapplying.

He may not be. Benefit of the doubt time - he might have the doctor given him the OK and is just waiting on the DVLA sorting their stuff out....

However it is a tricky call OP. If he is a danger to others, you know what you have to do.
