Silver Ford Focus Mk 2

We've been looking at Ford Focuses recently and saw a silver one but were put off because the bumper was a slightly different shade to the rest of the car. I figured it had suffered from a front end collision at some point.

I have seen another couple now though which have the same problem. Is this a known issue?

Just they never came up the same after painting from the factory. Theyre all the same.Bumper is plastic, panels are metal. Its nothing to panic over.

Slightly different .....lol thats like night and day , id deffo say thats been sprayed .
Could of just been stone chips , but im a sprayer by trade and no way would i of let that go out looking that far out ....

There's loads of silver ones out there like that though.

I've got a 2010 focus st in silver, the front bumper doesn't quite match the rest of the car. They are all the same, not sure why. Over on the st owners forum it's a well known thing, everyone's is the same. It's not as bad as the first picture here though.
