What Midi Keyboard ~ £100
Discussion
Hello,
Mrs eightseventhree and myself are looking at getting her brother a midi keyboard for christmas (plus for doing well in his exams). He is very musical and has started playing with Music production - particularly Ableton Live 8 (but not restricted to this).
What would people recommend for someone starting out in this for less than £100.
i think we would be looking at a more compact keyboard so he can take it when goes to his mates or travelling etc. . .
not sure if we need knobs sliders pads etc . . but thats what i'm coming here for!
Please give help and recommendations !
Cheers

For that budget the scope is limited, however the M-Audio stuff is always nice and integrates well with Ableton and other DAW's

Can't go wrong with that.
However if he's a piano player he might prefer a wider keyboard but you'll struggle to find one without paying a lot more.
