Am I the only one but whilst my car is having engine re build at Doms place I can't stand her not being with me, just having a quick look is often enough to suppress the emotions, and it's sunny! Jeez I need some patience, another wk.... Feels like another month, oh well all good things come to those who wait??? Having been a musician for many years, you don't need a stereo in these babies, the sweetest sound you'll ever hear.

I did not mean to offend you ! Im not bringing anyone down, all the named engine builders are gurus and I would be very happy for any of them to build me an engine ..

It`s my sense of humour (little things go around my head),just imagined you walking around the shop holding his hand ..

Your post came across like you were a little lost

Its all a bit of fun ,im usually on the recieving end of fun jokes regarding "silicone"

Im no expert and take on board what the experts say to us all ,there only cars so why not have a some tit for tat humour ..

Mine's due back on the road next month after an 18 month hiatus! I've been saying that for a while, but the new engine is actually in and running now.

Oddly I've missed it bitterly sometimes and not been too fussed for other periods. I did miss having a toy, however, so I bought myself an old 924 as a stop gap. The two complement each other perfectly - you can't get a more polar opposite to a blood and thunder TVR than a four-cylinder, four-seater Porsche. Shame I'll have to sell the 924 when the TVR comes back.
