BMW Dealer for M Service
Discussion
Recently bought a 320D msport from Woods. Excellent sales experience compared to my previous BMW sales/service experiences in the area including Barons and Sytner. Of which I have also sampled their poor servicing skills as well and been massively let down by them.
I've had my M3 in with Woods only last week. Booked me same day last minute for something which may of needed the car off the road (and luckily did not) but saw me immediately and have a good waiting area, coffee, soft drinks and free wifi etc. Staff are informative and I actually got to see and speak to the senior tech who came on a long (considering time taken) road test with me so I could properly explain the issues instead of them calling me back saying ''Oh we cannot find the problem Sir'' like I've had before with other dealers. I have to say I was very impressed with the care they showed my car. Ironically my mate saw them road testing it again later (agreed by me) and they were pootling along it in for a fair amount of time so It was in reasonable hands! Also just the little things impressed me with them....car was there only a couple of hours. It came back washed and hoovered and I was told it needed parts from Germany all covered under warranty. They have also looked at other cars I've had before with no charge to identify problems. They also collect/deliver mileage dependent. I would not go anywhere else with the car in warranty if that makes sense

Harwoods in Basingstoke are good. Not that I'm biased or anything
Is that the one that does Jag/LR/etc. and only do servicing (i.e. no sales)? If so, that's where my Z4MC got it's running in service done.
Although if you're considering taking it to 'Forest BMW' in Hook then make sure you leave a note in the window so that they don't wash/valet it if you value you paintwork.
They did an awful job on mine - despite the note in the car and on the job sheet saying not to as it had just had a professional detail & paint correction - and left lots of gritty sponge scratches all over the car and a couple of deeper scratches on the hatch. I gave the a couple of chances to rectify it before I gave up and took it back to my detailer to sort.
