Looking at current Lancia lineup I have a feeling that Fiat should let Lancia save some grace and already close it. I mean, come on a car company with so much beuatiful history in rallying, which has made so many great cars offers now one city car for women, one not so great compact with a great name and two rebadged Chryslers? Does anyone has got any info whats next for them, becouse right now it's situation is awful.

i think the same could be said for almost every small manufacturer, especially those absorbed by a larger corporation. cutting costs and boosting profits are what it all boils down to in the end. its a shame but thats how these marques still exist, if a massive firm like rover can disappear with the backing of bmw just imagine what would happen to lancia out on there own

They're going to be faded out, basically.

The Ypsilon is still regarded as important. Otherwise it will be rebadged Chryslers and maybe even canned.

They still sell quite well in Italy, loads of the ypsilons around when I was there last. Just not so popular here (probably because of the Crysler badges)

Lancia outsells Alfa in Italy, just not anywhere else, and Italian sales are the sttiest st they've ever been since I think 1976.

Hopefully they kill it, I say this with very fond memories of delta integrales which to me is currently being tarnished by the current rebadged gash that we are forced to sell. Now the dodge if the dodge dart was sold here now we're talking.

The Dodge Dart is just a re-engineered Alfa Giulietta!

I bought a model of the new Fulvia when the car was being designed/built for the car shows.
Every time I look at it on the shelf think ............. if only.
I am biased as a Fulvia was my first car back in the day when they were still making them. Okay but it was a second hand series 2, but what a beauty! I would have bought a new one if they had built it. Maybe that was their last chance in the UK? Such a shame that for what ever reason it didn't happen.

If the Fiat group are smart, when the 4c comes, they'll shove an alfa 3.2 v6 in the middle of it (are they still knocking around?), make it look like that one of stratos and sell it in limited numbers as the new stratos.

I cant imagine it wont grab headlines.

Keep lancia as a place to do over priced limited production sports cars, seen as they arent really doing much else with them.

Nope. But then it would be a 6C anyway. It may get a V6, but not the Busso.

Well, it would be a 6c if it was Alfa, but I dont recall lancia using that name.
