So far it looks like its got the extra option of the Bilstein B14 coilovers (which costs £899) and the "sticker" pack (which was £999 - mental I know)

The cars opitions extras are Sight and Light pack, Bluetooth and cruise smile

So first owner paid a total of £25,488

Anyway thats the boring stuff done smile

So early start 5:30am this morning frown

Waking people up

3.5 hours drive to Shorpe, have good look around can't fault him so far, paid and job done.

Harley had the joys of driving him home

Mileage covered today and total mileage

Took couple pictures but only in garage will take some better ones soon

Tucked away with Monty, Vinnie (Astra VXR) is in another garage for now but still nice and dry

These brakes are epic, I have bought a set for Vinnie too

Photo of B14's

I'm taking him into work tomorrow to give him a good check over but overall i'm really happy

look of Gucci about it with the red/green sill stripes

£25k for a Corsa is madness though

personally i'd rather have an SE spec German barge for the money

Oh come on, first reply, not exactly positive lol. It's his money, his choice wink

Anyway, lovely car op, always liked the Corsa VXR, never heard of the VXR-R mind, guess its vauxhalls answer to the Mugen Civic Type R-R lol.

What's the story behind it, is the Astra staying or going?

Cool that collection of GM products you've got now, need a picture of all three together smile

Seriously struggle to see it getting down to 5.4 0-60 - I'd have thought it'd wheelspin most of the power away (tis FWD, right?).

Looks cool though, v.nice car!

This! The top promotional pictures have a car that has red brake calipers, but for some reason yours are blue?! Too many colours IMO, get the paint out!

Looks pretty nifty I think. I do hope that baseball cap isn't yours though, as there is a stereotype to be made about a cap-wearing Corsa driver as it is!

Good looking quick little motor but as already said ..25K!! that would get me some nice E90 V8 German metal.

Seen this around Shorpe (I have the misfortune of living here) and always wondered what exactly it was. Looks good.

Those times where never tested and total guestimates, the astra VXR-R was guestimated to run a 4.9 but never came close...... Full fat car with some choice bolt ons from the said tuners tuning catalogue.

25K. Would have thought Vauxhall could put something better than a pound shop interior in it!

5.4 seconds to 60mph sounds like fantasy imo. The MR2 Turbo was mid-engined, RWD and lighter than a Corsa VXR and also had 240bhp and that did 0-60 in the same time I believe, I can't see a FWD Corsa doing it, no matter how many extras you stick on.

Looks good Dale, will have to come have a play.

Seeing as Dale gets paid to drive them day in day out I don't think he is looking to spend the money on one. Also 25K was the new price not what Dale paid.

The 0-60 may be a possibility. His other smaller (I think) tyred Corsa has been timed with a Vbox 0-60 in 5.5

Still that interior that reminds me of the diesel Astra I drive at work! And the slightly shabby trimming of the wheel in their cheap leather, something I never really liked in the hire Corsas I had a couple of years ago. And I'm not overly keen on the colour scheme on the outside either, or the slightly clumsy VXR-R name.

I do like the nice standard Corsa VXR's in Arden Blue though, if it was just standard to avoid it melting a piston.

I think I would have paid £999 for them NOT to fit the sticker pack!!
