Turning roaming off - iPhone 3GS

[Moley RUFC]

Can't seem to find anything under settings for this. Should I not have a 'Mobile Data' option to turn off? Phone is an iPhone 3GS.

I have been advised to just keep the airplane mode turned on and then pick up local wifi in Dubai.

Look in settings-General-Mobile Data.

Airplane Mode will turn WiFi off.

I can have Airplane mode switched on and still use wi-fi.
