At the weekend I took the boot carpets and sound insulation out, as well as the spare wheel. I found this hole just in front of the spare wheel well, looking from the tailgate. Should it be open? It has the remains of some sort of pad to the left of it but other than that it is completely open. Should it have a plug in it of some sort?

Thanks!

Oh.

It does look like a deliberate hole though, not a rusty hole that's just grown.
Thanks for the reply. I'll investigate further!

And paint some rust-proofer/waxoyl in that spare wheel well or that hole is going to be the least of your worries wink
