Anyone else think that this is a little fishy?

I may be totally wrong, of course. smile

Erm, why? Looks okay to me unless I'm missing something obvious.

Likewise can't see why you think it could be stolen, you can do an HPI report on the car via the link in the Ebay ad.

Certainly not stolen.

I can't think of anyone knowingly trying to steal a 307CC...

You think it might be stolen because of the creaky roof mechanism, dodgy passenger door lock and a bit of damage yea?

Ok, fair enough. But then why would the potential car thief explicitly list these things?

No. smile

Look at the passenger door. Seems to be damaged and doesn't lock/unlock consistently according to the ad. Damage seems to be around the rubber at the bottom of the window. Has this been interfered with?

Also seems really cheap and the ad hardly has a lot of detail.

Oh well. I guess I'm wrong then. smile

Because Ebay sides with the buyer. smile

How do you know what the reserve is? And it's an Ebay ad, we should be grateful it's not full of ILITARATE CAPS!!1!!!

They've listed it with a reserve, until that is reached you can't say what is the minimum they will sell it for.

I can see what you mean about the passenger side door could sound like it has potentially been broken into.
But, the bit I've highlighted. You DO know how ebay works, don't you? They've set a reserve price on it - so it can't be sold for lower than that. Just because it's on a few hundreds pounds now, doesn't mean the seller hasn't set a £5000 reserve on it. As to the length of the advert - there's plenty worse on ebay.

Also, it's unlikely to be stolen because:

rofl so true.
