I can testify that they're very durable - having knocked one about for over a week now with no breakages. It's an incredible bit of gadget tech for the money - very controllable once you get the hang of it. Cheapest I found was here

I'm thinking about getting one of these, I saw the chap in our local model shop demo one the other week, they are getting them in at £40 each (for the sake of saving £3.50 i'll use the local shop rather than online) and they are going to be getting 'crash kits' which include a bunch of spare props and a spare battery.
