Hi Peoples... Does anyone have any good experiances with engine mounts at all?.. like the new higher temp ones on offer I think at Racetech or others.. Ment to give you the same vibration free end result but more able to take the temp's?

Reason I ask is that I replaced mine 2 years ago... and have may be done 2.5 / 3 K since... but the things are allowing the exhaust to hit the top rail! They are std ones from Racetech and they have said send em back and they will take a look?.....

also, the support things you can buy.. are these the answer?......

TBH I thought these would be okay as I covered them with foil to keep the heat off ect?.... Not good!!.. frown

Perhaps wrapping them in foil made them hotter?

I had mine replaced 4 or so years ago and they're still going strong so I think you must have had a dodgy pair.

SC Power ones are very good, even the ones that strengthen the original mounts!
